Saba Ghasemi Naraghi

I have been a graduate student in Prof. Jiang’s CLAMS group since Spring 2022. Before that, I earned my M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics and B.Sc. degrees in Applied Mathematics and Industrial Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Tehran, Iran. Currently, I’m working on optimization problems related to industrial decarbonization and food/agrochemical supply chain. My CV can be found here.

I have been a graduate student in Prof. Jiang’s CLAMS group since Spring 2022. Before that, I earned my M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Macau and B.Sc. degrees in Statistics and Law from Shandong University of Science and Technology in China. Currently, I am AI for Science related to solving forward and inverse problems for partial differential equations, with applications in precision agriculture. My CV can be found here.

Cole Elder
I am currently an Undergraduate Researcher working jointly with Dr. Jiang and Dr. Praveen Meduri on technoeconomic analysis and optimization of conventional and electrified hydrogen peroxide production.
Chris Turner
I am currently an Undergraduate Researcher working jointly with Fractionation Research, Inc. on software developing and testing for distillation column monitoring and fault detection.
Tylee Kareck
I worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at CLAMS from Spring 2023 to Spring 2025. I am now a PhD student in chemical engineering at Texas A&M University. During my time at OSU, I worked on electrification of separation units for the steam cracking process. I received several recognitions and awards, including the CEAT Undergraduate Research Scholarship, Outstanding Chemical Engineering Senior Award, and the R.N. Maddox Chemical Engineering Senior Design Contest Award. I was also part of the team who won the First Place for the Best Applications of Inherently Safer Design (Ted Ventrone, Ephraim Scheier & Walt Silowska Award) in 2025 AIChE Design Competition.
